I wanted to take a minute and introduce myself.
I write pulp fiction style books in several genres.
Sci Fi
Thrillers
Urban Fantasy
And Post Apocalyptic.
My two best selling series are:
Invasion Earth, about a plucky squad of misfits fighting alien invaders
AND
Battlefield Z, about a father hunting for his lost children in a zombie filled wasteland.
But the fastest growing series is Old Magic, about a half magic Sheriff patrolling the borders of a Magical Reservation in North America.
You grabbed a book off Bookfunnel and that’s probably how we got introduced.
I also write a daily newsletter with 11,000+ subscribers called It’s 9AM that is about nostalgia, the future and an update on what’s going on in my world.
And if you’re into audiobooks, I publish one a week on my YOUTUBE CHANNEL called Lowrywrites.
I’ve been a writer forever, and in between I’ve been a Corporate Exec, a Small Business Owner, an award winning filmmaker, a photo journalist, and a blogger.
I learned how to be a jack of all trades doing a lot of different things, like fixing and flipping homes, running 100 mile races, running marathons, and working with military men and women across the branches.
I’ve lived in CA and TX, but after a decade stint in FL, I call AR home. It’s where I grew up.
I love being outside. Love running in really hot weather, or biking the trails in the Ozarks.
I eat lots of great food and drink lots of craft beer, and try to go to as many Festivals and Street Fairs as I can find, all in the name of adventure.
One time, I even tried to kayak the length of the Mississippi River but got swamped in lower Minnesota and lost my gear.
So I beached the kayak and ran from there back to where I was storing my truck instead of hitching a ride or calling an uber.
We’re part of a travel baseball team and spend a lot of weekends at the fields, and put in a lot of practice on the diamonds.
All of the above ingredients make for an interesting perspective on life, which I try to put into fiction and/or posts.

Double Dozens of audiobooks.
And growing.
All growing.
I experiment with stories.
Probably more than I should.
I’ve never gone viral on any social platform.
Though I kinda wish I would.
The cash influx could help fund more misadventures.
I’ve got a long list of shortcomings and a short list of high achievements.
I don’t give many second thoughts to either.
My superpower is Grit, which means I keep going.
Trying to find a way.
Trying to figure it out.
No matter what the It is.
Right now, it’s publishing for media and reinvigorating it as a business.

Which I plan to expand into some other areas I am interested in, like animated shorts, more time to write fiction and changing the world.
I try to avoid traffic and things that irk me, because life is too short to be filled with mundane aggravations.
I also try to learn every single day. Mostly how to entertain, educate or otherwise enlighten.
