She asked, What are you working on now?
When she gets up, I’m usually off and running.
Literally when we first got together, I went for a long morning run.
And more recently it’s been doing what needs to be done by going to the J.O.B.
Except on days off, which are weekends, which is by design.
Because…
Baseball.
But Memorial Day weekend means no baseball for us, just a moment to memorialize.
And I work on Monday, so it’s like any other weekend off for me.
Yard work. House work.
And before she gets up, the real work.
First a note to you for a Saturday Special, then as many words as I can cram in on a story.
