It's 9AM
The New York Times has a product page.
You know it, you’ve seen it, or if you haven’t read about it, you’ve seen a thousand imitators.
Some are poor, some are not so poor.
But I not only bring you free books, but I share with you some ideas, and this idea is for you to make some extra money before Christmas, if you feel so inclined.
I do this on a small scale, and I’m not raking in NY Times numbers, I am watching my income grow a little.
Some months, it’s like an extra paycheck. Some months, I can fill a tank of gas.
But it’s simple, easy and doesn’t cost anything to get started.
And if you make enough to pay for some extra books, then you might buy ten of mine and we are golden!
You should make a product page.
What is a product page?
It is a list of products you use, order and/or buy from Wal Mart, Amazon or wherever.
You can build a free page on Wordpress.
You can use your smartphone to take a picture of it.
Then talk or write about the product.
But what do you say?
Why do you use it? How long have you used it? What’s so special about it? Would you tell a friend about it?
It doesn’t have to be a novel. A hundred words or less, like two friends talking over the bed of a truck.
So how does that make you money?

Then join wordpress here. (again, not an affiliate link, I don’t get paid for it.)
Now, just list the things you use.
For example, I am a coffee guy. I drink a pot of coffee every day.
I try a bunch of different types of coffee, and some even for different times of the year.
So I could make a simple review about coffee:
We stayed up late playing baseball last night. The first game was cancelled when the other team pulled back, so we went into our second game 1-0, but that meant an 8:30 start time, an hour’s drive from home.
Don’t let the name FALL BALL fool you, it’s still summer across the Southern US, and that means heat. Heat means tired, and when you top it off with a late night, it is extra tough to get up and go the next morning.
This is my go to coffee for rough mornings when you need an extra boost.
Fine ground espresso with just a touch of cream gets the blood flowing, the brain working and you’re ready to tackle just about anything. Bold strong taste, so sweeten and lighten to your desire.
That’s it, and that’s a LONG review.
It could be a lot shorter.
You can add whatever you want to your product page. I just think listing the things you use every day is a great way to start.
And I picked coffee to start because that’s how I lead off my day.
Here’s ten other things you could review:

2. Body Wash
3. Shampoo
4. Toothpaste
5. Deodorant
6. Perfume
7. Hair brush
8. Jeans
9. Tee Shirt
10. Shoes
Do you put your coffee in a to go cup? Lunch in a lunch bag? Use a purse or satchel or backpack for your work gear?
Why did you pick it? Why is it good? Why is it bad?
Once you get your image and description down on your word press page, just add an affiliate link.
An affiliate link is unique to you, and when someone clicks it, they are taken to the Amazon page (or other sites you use) and if they buy something, you get a few cents.
Usually, an affiliate link tags you for a set period of time, 24-48 hours, so the link does expire.
But that’s why you can explore adding more products, or testing new things to share with people.
Your biggest hurdle is going to be traffic.
Traffic is how you drive people to your site, to read the review and click your link.
There are literally thousands of people out there who will take your money and coach you on how to do this.
Save yourself some cash, headache and heartaches, because unless you want to be an “affiliate marketer” then just focus on simple and easy traffic methods.
Share with your friends and ask what they think of your review.
Share on Facebook that you wrote a review, or added something to your product page. Keep it mysterious so they want to check out what you have to say.
If you are bolder, print out your product review, and then read it on video using your smartphone.
Upload the video to TikTok, and to Youtube and include your affiliate link in the comments.
Once you do all of that, it still might be slow growing.
Here’s the secret.
Write 100 product reviews for your page and share 100 times to a bunch of places.
Once you hit the 100 mark, you will either start to see traction, or make the determination that your reviews need some adjustment.
It took me a few months to make over $50 per month, but I used that time to grow and keep going.
So there it is, your easy, no cost, make an extra paycheck or pay for gas work from home job that’s simple to start and effective.
