It's 9AM
Ten days in.
That’s what I woke up thinking.
Ten days of the year done and gone and how close are you to getting what you want.
Or who.
Have you kept up with any goal, kept doing little things to move you one step further?
These are questions I ask myself.
And two more.
How much fun have you had?
And Are you happy?
Two things I put on my list to focus on in the coming year.
I should have added patience.
One thing I’m not very good at practicing.
Though the word by it’s nature means I have to do more of it to get better at it.
Practice.
Like playing a banjo or doing push ups or almost anything really.
The only way to get good at it is to do it.
Over and over again until it’s commited to muscle memory and second nature in the brain.
Practice.
Practice writing daily.
Practice walking daily.
Practice delayed gratification so that the journey to the goal is the reward…
Not the goal itself.
Gary Vee told me to fall in love with losing so that it won’t matter as much.
It helps with the journey.
And according to my health and the stars, it’s gonna be a long one.
Time to practice learning.
