It's 9AM
Happy 4th of July!
Today, I hope you get to celebrate.
Hot dogs and burgers on the grill, fireworks in the sky, or maybe just something fun to drink and something good to read.
That is the great thing about this big old world of ours, there’s more than one way to get happy.
Find yours.
Mine starts at noon.
I’ll do a six hour shift before then, because instead of giving the whole day off, the Zon thinks a half day is okay.
And I’ll take it.
Because it gives me a few hours in silence, no fireworks, no kid or chore list being waved about.
I can read a little AND write some things I’ve been thinking about.
